A live Developmental Coaching video workshop with Rob McNamara

Most of the time when we think or talk about development, we’re valuing development as a vertical progression towards greater complexity. At best, this view is partial and limited. At worst, it can be harmful to our well-being and ability to work in a truly developmental manner with our clients. A more healthy and helpful approach to developmental coaching emphases developmental range at least as much as developmental stage. By refining our understanding of the complexity and mystery of development to place more emphasis on broadening developmental range, we will be far more effective in service of integrated growth and well-being—in ourselves, and others.

Who is this for?

This workshop is designed for professional coaches who are working with developmental models and have an interest in deepening and refining their understanding of leading developmental research and its implications for coaching.

What to expect

This live video workshop will be 1 hour long, and feature a blend of teaching, small group interaction, and group discussion / Q&A with Rob. You’ll interact with fellow professional coaches, learn from Rob’s deep knowledge of adult development and applied developmental coaching, and participate in live discussion and Q&A with Rob and others.

Outcomes—What You’ll Learn

  • Shift your thinking away from the incorrect idea that people are  “at” or “in” a stage of development.
  • Learn to see yourself and your client more accurately within dynamic developmental processes.
  • Gain new insights and ideas for encouraging and promoting greater developmental range in your clients.
