Melissa Hammell
Melissa Hammell is a well-respected Certified Integral Facilitator® and community connector who is passionate about addressing intricate global challenges one conversation at a time. Being from a mixed family with strong Anishinabe roots, Melissa carries the responsibility of bringing different worldviews together through deep listening and relationship building. In her role as a consultant she has led major reconciliation initiatives and community conversations with Indigenous organizations, municipalities, government departments, businesses, non-profits and associations. From guiding organizations through change, to working at the forefront of reconciliation action in Canada, Melissa is a calming presence in unpredictable times.
Based in Algonquin Territory (Ottawa), Melissa is a partner at Bridge Building Group, where she designs and guides strategic planning retreats and other meaningful gatherings. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Waterloo and an Integral Facilitator® certificate from Ten Directions.
