We look forward to facilitating a great learning experience with you here in this course site.

This course is organized around the lessons and topics at the left. Here are a few points to keep in mind:

  • Each lesson is broken out into topics, and we have designed the course to be engaged in the order the topics are presented
  • Content includes text and links to PDFs, editable document templates or online self assessments. Feel free to use the templates and links as you encounter them (for your own personal reflection).
  • You’ll see a comments box on most pages; you may use this to offer any reflections of what you liked, or what was most meaningful to you, or perhaps a glitch you encounter.
  • There is space to share ideas about what is not covered that could be important for your organization in the final module called “your reviewer feedback”.

This course has been piloted as blended learning program – meaning that cohorts of mentors received both live skills sessions plus this asynchronous learning material. We’ve discovered mentors also find a lot of value in the practice, and peer to peer learning that happens in the live sessions.
